After five years operating as Liquor Lab, it became clear that the brand name no longer aligned with our core audience or values. Customer feedback revealed dissatisfaction with the name, which skewed heavily male, while our primary audience was predominantly female. Recognizing the disconnect, I spearheaded the effort to rebrand, rallying the team and board to embrace the change. After gaining alignment, I hired Perky Bros out of Nashville as our branding partner and led the entire rebranding process from start to finish. The year-long endeavor required navigating complex challenges, but the new brand is projected to increase customer satisfaction by 100%, better reflecting our audience and positioning us for growth.

“Mixwith” is an active, engaging name that speaks to both the hands-on nature of learning mixology and the social connection that comes with it. Cocktail parties have always been about the experience—the gathering of people, the conversation, and the art of crafting drinks—not just drinking. Mixwith embodies this philosophy, inviting participants to be fully immersed in the creative process of crafting cocktails, while also fostering a sense of community and connection.
